Bungalow To House Conversion
The addition of a first floor extension to create three additional bedrooms, en-suite shower room, family bathroom and dressing room transformed the existing three bedroom Bungalow in Rew Lane, Chichester to a large 6 bedroom house.
The works consisted of:
- Demolition and removal of existing roof
- First fix carpentry to fit new floor joists
- First fix carpentry to construct internal and external timber frame walls
- First fix carpentry to construct new roof structure incorporating dormers and roof window openings
- Brickwork to extend existing chimney stack
- Fitting of sound deadening quilt between ground and first floor
- Fitting of new floors consisting of 22mm moisture resistant flooring grade chipboard
- Fitting of new roof tiles and roof windows
- Installation of spray foam insulation to all external walls and roof
- Fitting of dry lining and plastering
- All first and second fix plumbing and heating installation
- All first and second fix electrical installation
- Second fix carpentry to fit skirting, Architraves, doors and staircase
- Finishing works to decorate throughout and fit new floor coverings
